Winter event celebrating Jász heritage and traditional sausage-making. Teams of families and friends compete in building and stuffing sausages, accompanied by pálinka tasting and folk music. Hosted at the JP Arena in Jászberény with a festive carnival atmosphere.
Sausages are a proud Jász (ethnic Hungarian) family tradition. The festival honors centuries-old local meatwork customs common in cold season (farsang). It attracts Jász people celebrating community bonds before Lent.
