The Three Kings’ Cavalcade is a beloved annual parade held on the eve of Epiphany (January 5th), tracing the Spanish tradition of the Reyes Magos. Locals build floats and walking groups to honor the Three Wise Men’s arrival. The event winds through Main Street with up to 20 festive floats, marching bands and dance groups, culminating in Casemates Square 1 2.
Introduced in the mid-20th century, the Cavalcade has been run by community committees for decades. It reflects Gibraltar’s Catholic heritage and Andalusian links, combining pageantry with a family-friendly celebration. Each year new floats are designed around themes, but all emphasize charity and community spirit.
