The C.S. Lewis Festival is a three-day family festival in East Belfast celebrating the life and legacy of author C.S. Lewis. Held each November, it transforms C.S. Lewis Square into a winter wonderland of Narnia-themed activities, including outdoor cinematic screenings, costumed storytelling and a Christmas lights ceremony. Pop-up markets and creative workshops bring Lewis’s storytelling to the streets.
As Belfast’s famous literary son, C.S. Lewis is honored through this local festival. It taps into community pride in Lewis’s global literary impact and connects it to Belfast’s cultural offerings. Over time it has become a highlight of East Belfast's winter calendar, blending the city’s Christmas traditions with Lewis-inspired creative events.
