Skvulp is Holbæk’s annual harbor culture festival, celebrating community, creativity and local culture with music, art, food and family activities at the Holbæk harbor. Since its founding, thousands of visitors have come to the harborfront to enjoy free performances, a children’s area, street food and more, all organized by local volunteers and the municipality. 1 2
Holbæk is a coastal town on the Roskilde Fjord whose identity is closely tied to its waterfront. Skvulp festival enlivens the harbor each year and highlights local associations and traditions (sports, dance, music, theater), fostering a sense of community. 1 The festival takes place in late spring (Pentecost weekend) when Danes traditionally celebrate outdoors by the sea.
