An annual arts and culture festival celebrating the Kapana district of Plovdiv, a bohemian creative quarter. Kapana Fest includes music, crafts, street performances, and urban art. Launched around 2015, it has become a landmark urban festival (celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2025 1) that reinvigorated the historic Kapana area with cultural events 1.
Held in Kapana and the surrounding pedestrian streets, the festival underscores Plovdiv’s modern identity as a creative city. Its name (“Kapana Fest”) refers to the ‘Trap’ district, and the event promotes local artists and neighborhoods. 1
